A better referral workflow for partner organisations

The core workflow a partner organisation should expect when referring people into mental-health support.

Separate workflow visibility from clinical visibility

Organisations usually need to know whether a referral is pending, accepted, assigned, in progress, or closed. They do not automatically need access to referral reasons, notes, assessments, feedback text, or session history.

Make allocation auditable

A clear allocation view shows how referrals move from submission to review and assignment. This helps managers resolve bottlenecks without giving every user broad access to sensitive records.

Build escalation into the pathway

Safeguarding, consent authority, privacy rights, and complaint routes work best when they are part of the pathway rather than handled through ad hoc inboxes after a problem appears.
